Its been a while since I updated my site. Life is what happens will you are making other plans. As we approach an election that will be a historical landmark, on what do we base our opinions? Hard to tell who is telling the truth. Promises in the dark, as Pat Benatar would say. It will be most interesting to see who makes history

OK, now we know. America has taken a huge step forward to be sure. Let's see if our new president can deliver all that he has promised (we'll be watching!)

Somehow, I don't think our current situation is what we were counting on when we went to the polls a year and a half ago. We are still watching and waiting, but I fear things will get much worse before they get any better, if they ever do.

Wow, we Californians were so impressed with our President that we elected one of his party mates to governor. The only thing that can save our state now is a major earthquake causing us to slide off into the Pacific......
